First Snow

We have had a fall that felt like summer but this morning was cold and totally socked in with rain, fog and cold. Over ½ inch of rain fell over night according to the forecast. And for a brief moment, the clouds parted enough to get a view of the far off mountain top, covered with snow. Yes, winter has arrived in the mountains. It is still early, so we may still loose the white capped scenery before it comes to stay, but it is still a sign that snow and skiing is on it way. For those of us that love the snow, the beauty of winter, and the fun of winter sports it is exciting to see the first snow. Artwork by Llona
