Snow Geese Migration

This is the first piece of work from my 2022 collection, “Snow Geese in Adrian”. There are several places that I visit each spring that I can experience hundreds (maybe thousands) of snow geese and Adrian, Oregon is one of them. (There is some concern about Snow Geese populations). I produce artwork in the winter and only seem to make 4 or 5 pieces. Since I love birding, one piece is usually about birds. The snow geese migration is usually in spring and late fall. Although, there have been rare reports of a snow goose hanging out with the Canadian geese, they are usually not in the area the rest of the year. In this pastel I tried to complement the stark black and white birds and the spring colors of fields and rocks, and sky.

Black borders and watermarks are not on the originals or Giclees. Artwork by Llona
